Happy Wednesday!

It's been a looooooong day/week already without much sleep, but someone posted this on facebook. It had me snorting.

This kid is 13 or 14 and has a whole bunch of videos. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

"I Believe This Is Heaven To No One Else But Me & I'll Defend It As Long As I Can Be..."

Title:  Bethany Joy Lenz - "I Believe"

I believe:  that some people should not have driver's licenses. Make the driving test harder, please.

I believe: hearing "I love you Essa" from my niece is the best sound on earth.

I believe: that if we must take 45mins to go over one answer to an essay question in order for the whole class to rewrite it, the question is way too hard.

I believe: in hugging everyone who means something to me every time I see them.

I believe: that even though I would have never considered taking meth, after watching a 50 min documentary on it, I'm convinced I'd rather die then try it.

I believe: music makes everything better.

I believe: in dropping classes when you can't handle the amount of work, dislike the teacher, or dislike the class

I believe: in God.

I believe: that people who are convinced that autism is caused by vaccines poorly educated themselves before stating their opinions.

I believe: in cuddling on the couch with 2 of my favorite men to watch Dexter helps make my week better.

I believe: that if I would have known that psychology was the second hardest major offered at my college, I may have chosen a different major. Maybe.

I believe: in making time to say I love you whenever possible.

I believe: laughter is the best medicine, especially when snorting is involved.

I believe: being stubborn is a good thing, especially when you are being stubborn about what you believe.

"Been Rambling Day After Day And Everyone Says I Don't Know"

Title: Kings of Leon - "Notion"

I try to appear cool when I'm typing my posts but in reality, I'm a bloggin' dork.

No really, I am. I get excited when I have comments.  I love posting comments to other people's blogs. I texted Vito on Friday to tell him how excited I was when I realized I had 5 whole followers to my blog. 5! Yeah, I can count them on one hand but seriously, when I started blogging I never thought people would want to read my random thoughts.

I talk to Vito about my blog and he responded by saying he wants to get one too...

He wants to what?! Get a blog? And be blog friends? Uhm.. no. I don't think so.

See the thing is, my blog isn't read by anyone I know in person. Not a single one.  Not even Vito (thought I have told him about what I wrote and read him snippets) .  Maybe that seems weird that no one even knows I blog but I really enjoy it.  I love being able to write about whatever I want and make friends that way.

Maybe I'm missing out and could have more people visit my blog if I told my friends about it.  But for right now, I enjoy it the way it is. 8)

Do your friends and family know and read your blog or do you keep it on the DL like me?

"Let's Get Rich And Give Everybody Nice Sweaters And Teach Them How To Dance"

For your listening pleasure, please hit play and listen to this song to enhance your reading experience... or just because I've been listening to this song all day. It makes me happy, I hope it makes you happy too!

Well hello there Friday, it took you long enough to get here! Seriously. Regardless, nice to see you!

I woke up this morning 20 mins before I had to leave... contemplated skipping and staying in bed but bargained with myself that if I get up, I could stop for coffee. Caffeine + Fluffer Nutter for breakfast + Friday = One wired Vanessa. Healthy? No. Quick and yummy? Check!

I don't really have anything important to talk about today, as you can tell I'm just babbling. Haha. Sorry in advance, you can quit reading if you'd like.

Last night I was mad that baseball thought it was more important than Vampire Diaries so I did not get to see it yet. Ugh.  I did watch Flashfoward (uhm, hi. It was great but freaky. Loves it) and Grey's (2 hours of depressingness was worth it. I may or may not have cried a bit...)

Anywho, because it's a random day I figured I'd list some random things about me that have no utter importance. Fun right? I think so! 8)

1.)  The best therapy for me is driving on a beautiful day, windows down, sunglasses on, music on loud, and singing obnoxiously loud and off key like no one can hear me.  Nothing makes me feel better than this!

2.) I have random cravings. All. The. Time.  Not like normal cravings, but like "wow, she must be pregnant" cravings.. except I'm not pregnant. (Thank You God) Two nights ago while laying down to go to sleep, it hit me.  I wanted a strawberry shake from Burger King... Sushi... Cream Soda... Cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory... and Rita's. In so specific order.

3.) I dreamt last night that cloaked aliens (small dementor looking things) were trying to attack me while I was at a restaurant with my mom and 2 aunts drinking the biggest bottle of wine I had ever seen in my life but then they disappeared to go feed on the rats in the sewer but promised to be back for us.  I apparently asked Vito to save me from them when he went to tell me goodbye this morning.

4.)  I'm 22 and have been working for over 10 years at many different jobs. At 11, I helped out selling fresh produce at farmer's markets for my best friend's family and also helped out around the greenhouses. Following that, I worked at Panera Bread for a brief period of time.. it sucked. Then I worked at Bon Ton as a sales associate for 2 years.  Then a bank teller for 2 years with all women.  Now I'm a secretary at a business working with all men.

5.) I play with my food and mash it when I'm really angry.  I didn't really know this until this past week when Vito told me 5 reasons why he loved me... this was number 5. He's a keeper.

Happy Weekend!

"And Like A Ghost, I'll Be Gone"

Because I slept few hours last night and had 2 back-to-back exams today, my brain is fried to say the least. This made me laugh, ENJOY!

"Earth Is... Very Interesting. It's Harded Than Any Place I've Been Before"

Title: Quote from The Host

So this morning started out horrible. Miserable. Yeah, woke up at 4 AM to stomach pains. Bad stomach pains, I contemplated the fact I might be dying (I do this a lot.. Vito doesn't even bother worrying about me anymore). Turns out I am just in for a day full of cramps. YES! Not... I'm miserable and crawled into the fetal position for the next 6 hours. I called off work and skipped classes and instead spent my morning dreaming.

Dreaming you say? Yes dreaming. This is normal for others, to dream and all. It is a running joke in my family about my dreams. They never make sense. Seriously, mine are out there. One of my psych professors once said that some people get into the profession in hopes to help themselves, I hope on my way to helping others I can figure out what is wrong with my head.

I dreamt that we were having a big party and someone killed one of my best friend's, A. While they were trying to get her body out of a closet in my room (which doesn't exist mind you), I had to keep all these boys in my tiny bathroom. I found out later that Obama was the one who killed her and was after me now. Bwha!? Yeah... I ended up taking care of myself and ended it with a knife. Sorry Obama, don't mess with me. But then the neighbor guy was on his side and I had to run down the middle of the street screaming trying to get someone to open a door... then I woke up. Makes tons of sense right? Not...

Anywho, so I saunter downstairs and plop on the couch and start browsing my google reader (i.e. gift from God) and there was an update from Stephenie Meyer. She said the words that flipped my horrible day to wonderful! The Host is being made into a movie!!!!!!

Please say you have all read The Host? If not, stop reading my nonsense and go buy it! It's amazing, I adore it. The first few chapters are a little rough to get through, but once you get by that, you'll be hooked. The Host introduced me to one of my 3 top Book Boyfriends, Ian O'Shea. He's dreamy and I can NOT wait until they start posting the cast.

Have you read it yet?
If so, what did you think?
If not, what the heck are you waiting for?!

"Now Nothing Seems As Strange As When The Leaves Began To Change"

Title: Kid Rock - "All Summer Long

Happy first day of fall!! What a bitter sweet day it is. I personally hate when it starts to get cold. I HATE being cold, and I despise the cold... so winter is not my favorite time, but fall is lovely. I've decided to focus on some of my favorite things about fall today!

1.) Halloween

It is one of my favorite holidays, hands down. No other time do you get to dress up and act like children and get away with it without people looking at you strangely. Growing up we did not celebrate Halloween so I never got to dress up or go trick-or-treating. So needless to say, I am making up time! I really need to start thinking of costume ideas for this year...

2.) Pumpkins

You all have heard about my love for all things pumpkins. Lattes, funnel cakes, candles, pie, bread, coffee. Seriously, pumpkin=amazing. Also, who can hate carving pumpkins?! Not me!

3.) Clothing

I'm a huge fan of summer clothing but there are some good things about colder weather that I get excited ti whip out and wear again!

* Hoodies- Nothing is more comfortable on a cold day.

* Scarves- Not just to keep you warm but to make you look super cute! I want this scarf, now.

* Boots- not with the fur

4.) Leaves

It's gorgeous, enough said.

This is by no means all my favs, but most of the others involve foods and we'll save that for another day!

What's your favorite things about fall?

"Today's Not The Same As Every Day, It's Far From Ordinary"

Title: David Cook - "I Did It For You"

Oh weekend, how have you come and gone so quickly again?

Friday night at the fair was plenty of fun. The beginning of the evening was spent with my sister, brother in law, my niece, and her best friend all enjoying our pumpkin funnel cake. Might I say how fabulous it was? Because it was wonderful. Mmm.

After the pumpkin funnel cake and lots of people watching, you know of the people who have no mirrors, we headed into the stadium and enjoyed David Cook.

Now let me say, I have never in my life been surrounded by so many middle-aged, hormonal, screaming women in my life. It was quite frightening. The concert as a whole was good. He only played for an hour though, which was sad. When they went off the stage, I thought they were only breaking, but no they came out for one more song and then left the stage with one "thanks" and the lights came on and "Black Bottom Girls" started coming through the speakers. What?! What a random ending. Oh well, I enjoyed myself and I really needed a night out with my sis.

Wise Words of Wisdom

So while driving down my road, I passed a church that had a nifty quote on their sign that had me laughing so hard I cried. Seriously, best.church.sign.ever. I wish I would have had time to stop and get a picture so you'd believe me. The quote they used?

"Don't worry, even Moses was a basket case at one point."

"There's A Storm In Your Eyes, I've Seen Coming For Awhile"

Title: David Cook- "Lie"

Though this week is dragging on for what seems like ever, I am so glad it is Friday, FINALLY! Woot Woot! Not only is it Friday, but I will be spending the evening with one of my favorite girls in the world.

My one and only sister and one of my best friends in the world. I call her Sissy <3.>

We will spend out time eating one of the tastiest foods on earth, hands down.

Pumpkin Funnel Cake!! Ever had it?! No?! Try it, as soon as possible, you will thank me.

We will then people watch, because that it always entertaining. It's great, it brings out the town's finest.

After said entertainment, we will head to the stadium and watch this man perform.

David Cook! Woot woot! My sister got us tickets for my birthday present. We are going to be 10th row, we are both excited!

Happy Friday!!!

It's Thursday...

I'm having a crappy week.   Like one of those weeks where everything and anything is annoying and I'm contemplating getting in my car and driving until I can not drive anymore. Alone.  Want to know come current annoyances? Of course you do! 8)

1.) Teachers who believe their class and work for the class is my full time job and I should be able to do a butt load of homework at any point.
Seriously?! Uhm, hi. I am sure you have had the talk from your mommies and daddies that goes a little something like this: "The world does not revolve around you." I've had this talk (tho secretly, I think my mom lies and the world does revolve around me somedays. Ooops?), you've had this talk, they had to have had this flippin' talk.  I work and go to school and do not have time to sit around and read a million pages, write 5 essays, and be ready for a discussion in 3 days, not including the other 5 classes I have work for (one day which I go from school starting at 9am, work after that, and back to school until 9:15 at night.) Sure, I have plenty of time to do your mindless work... NOT.

2.) Vito
Now don't get me wrong. I love this man like no other but ugh, he can certainly get under my skin.  We've been off and on arguing all week and it just runs me down, honestly.  I hate arguing.  And most of the time it is about stupid, insignificant things that have no meaning what so ever.  Unfortunately, during one of my panic attacks, I tell him how I feel about school (i.e. that I hate it to the depths of hell) and he pretty much freaked out and told me to go finish my homework.  It didn't go over well and I'm still stewing over his reaction.

3.) My work computer
It decided to spaz out as of last Friday.  Luckily by Tuesday afternoon, it was fixed... I try to get back to scanning on Wednesday and now my scanner won't work and no one will help me fix it. Ugh.

You might as well call me Debbie, because I'm being such a downer... Yuck.  Once I'm done wallowing in my own self-grumpyness, I'll write something other than annoying things... hopefully later today! 8) Until then..

"How Could You Be So Heartless?"

In case you may have been hiding under a rock for the last 12 hours, please see the following video that will ensure your mouth to hang open and ponder, "Wtf? Did that REALLY just happen?!"

It did happen and I was horrified. I have never liked Kanye and now I despise him even more. Anyone who can show that little respect to another person is literally a waste of space as far as I am concerned.

Taylor Swift is amazing and I applaud her for being graceful and being able to rock out in her AWESOME performance shortly after this all went down.

"You'll Always Be My Baby"

So over all my posts here, I have been telling you about myself. Now, I suppose there has been something I have left out. Something big maybe? It is to me. Well, what is it?

I'm a mom.

That's right. I love my baby, seriously. She is the best thing ever. Nothing beats picking her up and cradling her in my arms, snuggling with her after a long day. She's precious, beautiful, mischievous, fun, troublesome, but loving. My life would be empty without her. Want to meet my baby?

Her name is Zoe.

A.K.A. Zoe Princess... Kittis, Kit, Purrrr-Baby

Adorable right? Seriously, Best. Cat. Ever. She plays fetch, loves to be held and given attention, loves her stomach rubbed, loves to play, loves human food especially if it is sweet.

She even loves playing dress up.

She has the softest fur and is small, she was a runt. My favorite feature about her?

Her golden eyes. <3 (If she would have been a boy, her name would have been Jasper.)

That's my fur baby and probably the only baby I'll ever have. 8)

"You Never Left Me No Messages You Never Sent Me No Letters You Got Some Kind Of Nerve"

Title: Fray - "You Found Me"

Hi, my name is Vanessa and I like to write notes to people/objects/ideas from time to time. This post is filled with nonsense, my fav. 8)

Dear Evil-College,

Last semester when we were hit with wicked storms, it damaged our precious parking garage, in case you forgot. It made it pretty difficult to find parking since this shut half of it down, but we survived. Now it is a semester later, after an entire summer and the flippin' parking garage is completely unusable?! Let me single-handedly thank you for making me late to my first class because there was NO parking spaces for commuters and I was told to park a few blocks away at west campus and walk back. Excuse me? Hi, class is starting now. Nothing is getting better and now you tell me you won't fix it until next semester? I hate, despise, loathe don't like you very much.

Signed,
Disgruntled student who pays thousands of dollars per year to attend your classes that she can not get to on time.

Dear 1st Skinny Pumpkin Spice Latte (no whip) of the season,

How I love thee, let me count the ways. Your yummy sweet taste, warming feeling of fall, keeping me alert and a tummy full of happiness. Now that being said, we must talk. In future times, please refrain from making me pee 4 times in a course of 1 night's sleep. It's quite disruptive for my beauty sleep, and Vito's too. We'll meet again soon, promise.

Kisses,
Your #1 fan

Dear Lazy Person whom I will not name,

Let me just explain to you a huge, massive teeny, tiny problem I have with you anyone. Please do not push your work off on me when you have nothing else to do and my desk is covered. It is much more efficient for you to do it, then explain every step of the process to me. You could have had it completed way before the time it takes for you to do it. I become very annoyed when I then continue to figure things out, turn around to ask a question, and you are not doing any work while I complete yours. Please stop.

Regards,
Little Miss Annoyed

"Laughing is the sensation of feeling good all over and showing it principally in one spot."

Title: Quote by Josh Billings

Growing up as a child, I would find something I liked, whether it be a food or a toy or a movie, and I would constantly watch or want to play or eat this thing. Seriously, I would pop in a movie and watch it multiple times a day for days until I found something else. Obsessive? Maybe. Once I get farther in my psychology classes, maybe I'll
be able to pick out a reason why I did this. Why I still do this. I am not as bad, but I do still find foods I like or a song and listen to it constantly. It happens. This is a list of my current obsessions. Enjoy!

1.) Air heads

I like to keep candy in my desk drawer to get me through the afternoons. Chocolate always lingers in my mouth and makes me keep eating it so I try to stick to something fruity. After eating Starbursts for a few weeks, I picked up a bag of Air Heads at the
store. Remember these?! They are so yummy. My fav? Mystery (white). Love it.

2.) Song: "Broken" by Lifehouse

I love this song. I can't get enough of it. It's been on repeat on my ipod since I got to work. It's beautiful.

3.) Facebook on Yahoo

I love that I can read status updates right in my Yahoo window when I go to check my mail. Saves me time. All about it.

4.) Book: Vampire Diaries

I read the first 2 books very quickly and was left with the cliffhanger ending, which I HATE. I ran to the bookstore and there was none in stock. I finally got an email today that my copy is finally in and I can't wait to read it! I also can not wait until the show starts up on Thursday. The preview doesn't seem to be exactly like the book, so we will see!

Well, that is all I can think about for today. It'll all change by next week!

"I'm Covered In Skin, No One Gets To Come In"

Title: Counting Crows- "Colorblind"

No particular meaning behind the name, I'm just listening to that song now. Heh.

Anywho, sorry I've been totally MIA lately. I've been trying to get back into the habit of 6 classes plus work. Ugh. All hard classes too with LOTS of stupid work. I'm just whining, it happens.

So long Labor Day weekend, know what I did? Basically squat. Laziness consumed me and I enjoyed it, thoroughly.

So here are some quotes to lighten up this entry because whining and laziness is just not fun to read about. 8)

Let us not look backward in anger
or forward in fear,
but around in awareness.

What I do with today
is very important
because I will be exchanging a day
of my life for it.

Not a shred of evidence exists
in favor of the idea
that life is serious.

Life isn't fair,
it's just fairer than death
that's all.

"In The Middle Of September, We'd Still Play Out In The Rain"

Title: Daughtry - "September"

So this is the 4th post I have started writing today but the only one I am going to finish at the moment. Two of the other ones involve me complaining about The Duggar's and my mother... the other one was a recap of my first day of classes.. and this one just seemed more happy. I'll finish the other eventually.. Haha.

So today is the first day of September already. I'm sad in the fact that means summer is over. Yesterday is looked and felt like fall. Tonight it is suppose to get down in the 50s over night. 50s?! Ugh. I hate the cold.

So I walked into Starbucks and order kryptonite, a.k.a Iced Caramel Macchiato, skim milk, no whip, extra caramel. It's delish... anywho as I was standing there waiting for the bartista to finish dumping in my caramel I saw a beautiful sign:

I may hate the cold but I LOVE pumpkin spice lattes! I'm sad I did not get one today. I will wait until it gets a bit chillier, throw a hoodie on, and enjoy the wonderfulness. I suggest you do the same, you'll thank me! 8)

Happy Tuesday!

xoxox

p.s. I finished The Vampire Diaries- The Awakening & The Struggle and I'm contemplating going out and getting the next book. I hate when books leave me hanging like that!
