The Adventures of Cherry Bombs: Conquering China Town One Photo At A Time
On Friday, our first adventure after breakfast was to find and conquer China Town. Excluding that fact that food was everywhere and none of the signs were in English so there was telling what was for sale, it was a lot of fun. We enjoyed finding props in the stores for good photo ops.
Sometimes we used parasols to because picture whores.
Other times it was using fans to become geishas...
Sometimes we used scary coconut shells with freaky faces…
Other times we tried on hats…
Sometimes we just posed with friends…
Other times sharps were involved in preparation for some shanking…
And then while wandering the streets, sometimes we find Mustang commercials being filmed…
Other times, we pose with $8,500.00 sculptures for our first group photo.
Sometimes, we decide it was time to venture somewhere else after being disappointed by this pitiful gate to China Town.

The Adventures of Cherry Bombs: Best.Breakfast.Ever.
Since it gets busy, we had to be there super early Friday morning which meant starting our day off at 6:30am, after we only went to bed after 2:30am (which was 5:30am my time mind you!). We left the hotel and this is what is looked like.
Thank God for Ashton, Lauren, & Christina having their smart phones or it would have taken forever to get there!
We made it to this cute little restaurant just in the right time that we only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. Those coming after us were not so lucky and had to wait outside along the building.
Inside was very quant and bright. Our table was beside a window that overlooked a park with old people playing exercising with samurai swords. Entertainment at its finest. The kitchen was open and there was fresh, yummy food sitting right behind the glass to watch as we waited in line to order.
When we got our food, it was amazingly delicious!
Here is my Banana Pancakes and Lauren’s French Toast sampler.
Ashton with her Eggs Benedict
Alex with her eggs and bacon
Christina with her mini pancakes and Lauren with her French Toast.
We savored every bit of our breakfast and our expectations for how yummy things would be were blown out of the water. I still may dream about breakfast there often. Mama’s is a definite place to check out if you were get out to San Francisco!

The Adventures of Cherry Bombs: An Afternoon Tea Party
*Please note my posts will be in so specific order, they are just coming out how they come out. Love me through it.
When talks of San Francisco started, it was not long after when Lauren suggested to do tea at Crown & Crumpet. After looking at their website, everyone agreed it was a must on our trip itinerary! So on the first day, we made a tea date for the afternoon.
When we got there, it was amazing. It was beautiful, like a little girl’s dream place to be. There were people of all ages there from a family celebrating a little girl’s birthday, to a bunch of girlfriends celebrating, to mother and daughters doing tea together.
The walls were covered with gorgeous artwork and it was so much to take in!
They sat us in the back in front of the faux fireplace on the couch and chairs for our feast!
Our Feast included:
5 pots of tea (but we only drank 3! Strawberry Fields Green Tea, Peach White Tea, and my favorite, Paris Black Tea!)
Yummy Tea Sandwiches: Roast Beef, Cucumber, Salmon, Onion & Cheese, Egg Salad, and Chicken Curry Salad.
Crumpets and Scones!
With yummy spreads to put on top!
Last but not least was the selection of pastries! The ladies were in.love. with the blueberry tarts but my favorite were the short bread cookies.
The selection was wonderful but way too much, we didn’t even finish everything (we took the leftover back to the hotel, no worries!). Everything was delicious and it was so much fun!

AKA one of the best pictures of the trip.
Beautiful Alex!
This was my first time at tea and let me just say, I couldn’t have had a better time than with these ladies!
Please feel free to check out some other posts by these gorgeous ladies about the trip so far:

Only The Beginning
Yes, so up to last weekend, not very crazy but then Thursday I stepped foot on a plane, for which I hate to do, and flew across the country to meet four of the most fabulous and gorgeous ladies to ever exist.
I didn't find this to be very crazy going into it, but after Vito worrying that these lovies could be serial killers, I realize it isn't very normal. But I think it should be because it is hard to but into words the amount of fun and laughter was smashed into such a short amount of time. People said "you girls don't know each other" but we did. And now we do even more. We have gone from ibffs to real bffs in a weekend and I wouldn't trade that weekend for anything.
Stayed tuned for many more updates from me and the ladies!
