10 Day You Challenge {10 Secrets}

A day late, but here is the 10 Day You Challenge I spoke of in Wednesday's post that I found on Jenny's blog.

Welcome to day one!

10 Secrets

1.
I still sleep with a giant stuffed dog my sister gave me when she moved out when I was 11.
2.
After High School graduation, our school has a lock-in at the school. Oodles of food, DJ, swimming, hypnotist. They went all out. It was actually pretty awesome. Once the doors unlocked at 5am to go outside, myself and two other grads went out to the one guy's car. He had a bottle of champagne. We popped it and drank champagne in the High School's parking lot, toasting to the end of your high school careers. Then went back instead and enjoyed the rest of the lock in.
3.
Even though I love and adore children, I don't think I want to have any of my own.
People often make me feel like I'm "missing" something within myself because of this.
4.
One of my biggest regrets is not going away for college.
5.
Whenever I'm in my car, my radio volume number has to be in increments of 5.
6.
My sister was the first person I called after Vito asked me to marry him but when I called my mom next, I told her she was the first person I called.
7.
I have zero self confidence.
8.
I wish I was more artistic.
I often envy artistic talent that other people possess.
9.
Anytime Hanson releases a new CD, I have to buy it.
I may not love them like I use to (think plastering my wall with Zac Hanson pictures because he was obviously going to marry me one day), but I still love their music.
10.
I have the biggest black thumb ever.
My mom even bought me a cactus as a child, thinking that I could keep that alive.
Wrong.
I've killed a cactus.
Fail.

Feel free to join in on the challenge with me!

Happy Friday & the first day of fall!

We had a graduation lock-in too...oh good times. And my parents are horticulturists but I still kill houseplants. My sister stole all those green genes.

I am not a green thumb gal either. Heck I can't even own a pet, I'm scared I might in someway neglect it (kids are different) haha HAPPY FALL!!

And here I thought I was the only one with the volume thing! Only with me it's not only the car radio; it's the TV, the computer and whatever else I can find. Quite tiring, to be honest :)

And also; you are beautiful and smart and funny and just awesome in general and it kills me to read that you don't have self confidence, because you should. You're one amazing lady, lady!

You killed a cactus? I have come close - I can't keep a plant alive for the life of me.

Um - I think I'm going to steal this idea :)

I have the same thoughts as you on children. I have a 9 year old sister and I'm pretty sure she's the only child I'm ever going to need.

As for the whole "missing out" on children in life, well for me...I want a lifetime spent with Nathan doing all the fun things we want to do. People can call that selfish if they want, but wouldn't it be more selfish of me to have a child I didn't really want and had because everyone said I should?

Sorry for my rant...haha. But I think you understand :).

Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet words! :)

Umm....

"7.
I have zero self confidence."

Darling, this is not true! I can tell by your blog that you are sweet, hilarious, and awesome! Be confident in that love!

I loved reading your secrets! It's sweet that you and your sis have such a close bond - I'd tell my mother she was the first I called, even if she wasn't.

I started doing this too :) http://elysiepiecie.blogspot.com/2011/09/10-day-challenge.html I love your secrets. Telling secrets is a lot of fun...but a little nerve wracking too.
