"Anyone who says they have only one life to live must not know how to read a book."

Title: Quote by unknown author

Oh Reading.
Ask me about things I missed while I was in school and somewhere in the top 5, I would say reading.
I tried to avoid picking up books during the school year because I never wanted to put them down.
I get lost in the books and want to do nothing else but read.
Not such a good thing when papers need written or projects need completed.

Now that I've graduated, there will be so much more time to read.
SO exciting!
One idea I've been toying with is buying an e-reader.
I brought it up to Vito around Christmas and he shot down my idea.
Saying it isn't worth the money unless I'd be reading a lot.
I put the idea out of my head for awhile but now with my birthday, the idea came creeping back.
So yesterday after Vito took me to dinner, we headed over to Best Buy and I played with the different e-readers.

Even after playing with them, I have an idea of which one I like better.
I still feel like I need more opinions!
So I thought, who better to turn to but my dearest bloggy friends.
So tell me about your e-reader!
Which is better:
Kindle or Nook?

Or another one??
If you don't have an e-reader, why not?
Help a chica out!

Nook!! I have played around on both, and I prefer the Nook by far! I like the touch screen over the keyboard function...plus I love my Jonathan Adler cover!!!

I don't have an e-reader for 1) I'm boycotting because I love the actual book and 2) I stare at a computer screen all day and I don't feel like I could enjoy the book as much as I could. BUT I have thought about buying one for traveling purposes since books get so bulky. Not quite sure which one I'd get though, I've heard great things about both the Nook and Kindle. I'm sure whichever one you get you'll love...and share what you're reading with me please :).

this appears to be the age old question. i'm toying the idea as a possible christmas present. it would just be so nice to get those new books i'm dying to read instantly. it's taking me a while to give in because i just love holding a book so much! i like that you can share books with the nook where you can't with the kindle. my friend has a kindle and she's had a few problems with it. let me know what you choose :)

I love love love books too. But ever since I started working, I just don't have a lot of time for it. Booohooo. I think both are good choices. I was actually planning on doing a little research and getting either one of them. Let us know which one you decide to go for and how you like it. =)

i was thinking of investing in a nook, but I agree with Heather. I think reading a book is better and I am tired of looking at the computer screen 8 hrs a day.. haha but who knows I might. So let me know how it goes (:

I don't know, but good luck making a decision! I'd like one just to avoid having boxes and boxes full of books.. (even though I secretly LOVE it..) but I think if something happened and it deleted all my digital books, I'd probably cry my heart out. I don't think I could take it!
