“Reading makes immigrants of us all. It takes us away from home, but more important, it finds homes for us everywhere.”

Title: Quote by Jean Rhys

First, let me say how angry I am that it is July 30th. How we've gotten to this point where summer is nearing the end and we are beyond half way through the year, I just have no clue.

Now seeing as I have 1 month of freedom before school takes over my entire life, I need to get in everything now in the next 31 days that I will not be able to. One of these is reading. I love to get wrapped up in a book but if I really get into the book, finishing it is all I want to do, making homework impossible to do.

So this means I need suggestions. I want to stock up on some books and get my reading on asap. I'm currently looking forward to this book:
August 24th, Peeta & I will be reuniting. I plan on spending the entire day with him so don't bother contacting me. ;)

Now besides this book, I want to make a list of some good suggestions and I'm hoping y'all can help me out!
Let me know what you are reading/have read so I can get my reading on!

ooohhhh here's some good ones:

The Help by Kathryn Stockett
Weight of Silence (I don't remember the author)
A Thousand Splendid Suns (once again, don't remember the author)

Those are some of my faves in the past little bit. And of course The Hunger Games series...but you already know that! :)

I am so excited for that book! Wish it was coming out sooner.

I just finished reading The Fountainhead. I really liked it, but that book is LONG with tiny print. I also just finished reading The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake...it was interesting, not at all what I expected. Now I am reading a book called Izzy's Fire.

I have on my to-read: Flowers for Algernon, Mockingjay, Atlas Shrugged, the Anubis Gates, Watership Down, and on and on :)

Not must reads, just ideas :)

Hard to suggest any off the top of my head. I guess it just depends what type you're interested in! I like reading Nicholas Sparks books, throw in some fantasy (Eragon series, Twilight, Wicked). It varies. Sometimes I'll just browse the Top Seller or Just In shelves at Barnes and Noble (and Why is there So Many Caps in this Comment?!).

I am unbelievably excited for Mockingjay :D it's coming soon!!
Lately I've read and would suggest Shiver, Linger, and Sisters Red. I'm reading Charlie St. Cloud right now because of the movie and it's pretty good.
I also read the first Pretty Little Liars and a book called Evermore. Both were pretty good but not as great as the others.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one squeezing in as many books before the school year roles around! : )

I'm currently reading Infidel by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. True story and very powerful.
