"You Is Kind, You Is Smart, You Is Important"

Title: Quote from "The Help"

When I first bought my Nook back in May (wow, it's been that long already?), I signed up (actually Vito) for a library card. This enables me to borrow e-books for 2 weeks at no charge.
This idea is gold, just so you know.
First book I went to borrow?

I'd heard how amazing it was and decided I needed to check it out myself.
Well, the library may be amazing because it lets you lend them for free, but I was not the only one who wanted to read this book!
The library had 4 copies, able to be borrowed for 14 days and I was number 26 on the waiting list. (Side note: there are over 60 people on the waiting list now. You can do the math on how long those people will be waiting)
Since there were so many other books to read, I shrugged it off and was pretty excited when I received the email last Thursday that the book was finally ready for me.

I started reading it over lunches but let me tell you, once I got half way through, I could not put this book down. I finished half of it in one sitting over the weekend.

This book will make you laugh loudly.
Feel rage and anger and disgust.
Have your heart swell with love.
& sob like a baby.

The hype around this book? Worth every bit of it.
I am most excited that I finished the book right before the movie comes out this week and I can't wait to go see it!

Have y'all read this book?
Love it? Hate it?
If not, what are you waiting for, go read it now!

My best friend was raving about it this weekend, so I agreed to get it this week in return for her reading The Hunger Games. I'm even more excited after reading this! :)

Oh sounds sooo good. I had no idea this was going to be a movie. So that means I have to look for it somewhere to read it. Thanks

I read it last year for my book club and LOVED it, I can't wait to see the movie though I'm sure that it understandably can't live up to it.
